How a lack of home maintenance can cause problems for your neighbors!

When the upstairs apartment bathroom has a leak, the downstair apartment's bathroom does too! This all could have been prevented if the upstairs apartment would have replaced the calk/silicone at the base of the tub when it began to crack and peel. Over time, water kept spilling over the tub, into that opening, and spread to the toilet area, causing an uneven and soft floor and then a toilet leak. This snowball effect is actually quite common with neglected homes.
